The aim of this study was to investigate the optimization of solar thermal collectors and photovoltaic cells that has been integrated into the system and be able to cogenerate the heat and electric energy. The purpose of  using the integrated PVT systems were to improve the electrical efficiency of photovoltaic cells at high temperatures from heating and cooling using lost heat absorption by the solar collector.
